This machine does what it says it does. I bought an upgrade bundle of a 2 GB Ram card (easy to install - instructions on You Tube, just open up Ram storage cover on the underside of the machine and clip out the old card and replace it). Amazon recommended the right card automatically - however do make sure you get the right type of RAM.I also upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium which enables me to have the same desktop as on my PC (and play DVD movies). Am getting 8hrs plus battery life from a full charge. Is a little slow to start up but once up and running is really quick. If you set it to sleep rather than shut down it comes back into action at lightning speed.
I did some research on the net before purchasing and found lots of people had trouble with the Nero bundled software - so I did not install it - hence I think the smooth running of the machine software. I run Office 2010 on it no problem with multiple applications open at the same time. The great advantage is it is so...

As my first netbook/ laptop i was a little unsure how i would find using this but so far so good . the wifi connection is great and the bluetooth is very useful for connecting to your phone to the netbook and accessing the internet. The processor is fine for everything that i use.
The screen is good i have watched a few movies through the netbook and it is fine the screen size is more than big enough and the picture quality is exellent.
One big down side for me was the sim card slot. I researched net books before making my purchace and one of the bonuses with this netbook was the slot underneath the battery to accomodate a sim card and connect to the net directly through the sims 3g capability. however in my net book the slot was there but there was no internals and i ended up loosing my sim card for a while in the inner working of the netbook only a bit a shaking and luck bought the sim back to me. After googling this i found out that this is an optional extra and not...

A great little netbook. It does every thing that a normal size laptop does in a small size, easy to take on the move and set up to different wifi spots. The only down side it the battery which does not last as long as the 11 hours or so that it states on the samsung website but it does last a very long time when programs are running. Very fast start up time so no more waiting for what can seem for ever waiting for it to flash up.
